The Opposite Hand ermerges from the same interest and vision of exploring aerial dance choreographies related to the urban space. Our work combines dance with architecture and audiovisual poetry. For us, the city is a source of exploration, research and social reflection.
We are an italian and a german aerial dancer, Ludovica Zoina and Vivian Friedrich, working together with the french artist Julien Deniau.
Wall Dancing is a form of aerial dance using the facade of a building or the wall of the stage as the floor, while the artists are hanging on ropes. In these shows climbing, contemporary dance and acrobatic skills are melted together.
